This long and flat cut from the underbelly of the venison is a popular choice for venison steak salad or venison fajitas (and tacos). Usually considered a tougher cut, our New Zealand Cervena and Red Deer flank steaks are naturally tender and perfect for quick cooking. Very rich, naturally lean and full of a sweet and herbaceous flavor, feel free to add your favorite marinade, smoke, or just season it lightly and throw on the grill. All of our venison meat comes from free-range, humanely and naturally raised Red Deer, never given any hormones, antibiotics or genetically engineered feed.
