Wagyu Strip Loin, MS3, Cut To Order

The classic steakhouse steak gets even better! One of the most flavorful, amazing cuts that you can get from any steer, the Australian Wagyu Striploin steak is even more incredible when it comes from Wagyu cattle. Cut from the Short Loin, this is also known as Top Loin or New York Strip Steak. Thick and succulent, this is evenly marbled throughout, mapped with a creamy webbing of delicious fat that melts into the meat as it grills or roast. The thick cap of meat at the top also gives it a boost of beefy flavor. Our Wagyu Strip Loin is graded Marble Score 3, meaning you get a nice amount of marbling, and more tenderness than any USDA Prime steak.

Perfect to grill, pan-sear, or for roasting, the versatile Australian Wagyu Striploin steak delivers flavor and tenderness.

13 lbs. is the average weight of our whole Australian Wagyu Striploin steak, which you can get whole to cut yourself, or cut into juicy steaks of your desired thickness. 

Grilling advice: the superb, extra juicy fat marbling on Wagyu beef will melt over the grill, so watch out for flare-ups.
Cutting details: you have the option of choosing the thickness of your steaks: ¾ inch, 1inch, 1 ¼ inches, 1 ½ inches, 1 ¾ inches, and 2 inches. Because the Shortloin is an uneven muscle, not all steaks will be exactly the same size, and some steaks will be cut a bit thicker or a bit thinner, but we’ll try to keep it as close to what you requested as is possible. If there are any trimmings left over after the cutting process, of course those will be included as well.

We source our Australia, one of the largest Wagyu beef producers in the world. This all-natural Wagyu comes from same breeds used to produce the famous Japanese Kobe. The Wagyu cattle is raised first on mother’s milk, then free grazing on the open pastures of Australia, finally finished with a minimum of 300 days on grain to ensure that succulent tenderness.

  • Marked chilled, this product will arrive in a vacuum-sealed bag.
  • Unopened, use or freeze within 7 days of receipt. Once you've opened the vacuum-sealed bag, use or freeze within 1 day.
  • If frozen, keep in the freezer for up to 6 months. To defrost, thaw overnight in the fridge, then use within 3 days.

There is gristlein the M3 unlike the M5; I'll try the M4. No more M3 for me.

A: Both the chilled and the frozen version of the steaks are packaged in vacuum sealed bags. They are both shipped in styrofoam lined boxes, with dry ice (for the frozen version) or ice gel packs (for the chilled steaks)

Q: Are these from 100% Wagyu cattle, or Wagyu/Holstein Waygu/Angus hybrids?
A: The Strip Loin is from 100% Wagyu cattle.
