Our wild hog stew meat is sourced from Broadleaf, who obtain it from farms outside San Antonio, Texas. On these farms, all the pigs roam free with a natural diet of acorns, grass, roots, hickory nuts and pecans, all adding to the unique flavor profile of the meat. Pigs are humanely trapped and killed, as well as USDA veterinary inspected to meet all regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest quality product.
Storage: Product arrives frozen and vacuum sealed. Keep frozen until ready to consume. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Product will last 6 months frozen, or 5 days thawed.
