Cut from a wet-aged Signature Wagyu prime rib roast, these frozen Wagyu beef rib eye steaks are a feast for the meat-loving connoisseur. Imported from Australia, this Wagyu cattle comes from the same breeds used for the famed Japanese Kobe beef, raised 18 months free range, then finished with a special Japanese formulation of grain for 360 days to ensure that fantastic tenderness.
Scored MS 5 (in the 1 to 9+ scale), this is a top-shelf steak. Right away you’ll notice the amazing amount of creamy intramuscular fat webbing across these steaks. Marbling means flavor, and this much marbling means rich, creamy flavor and incredible, butter-knife soft texture that just melts in your mouth.
Our Frozen Wagyu Beef Rib Eye Steaks are hand-cut by our expert butchers into different sizes and sold in packs of 2 steaks. Steak sizes vary from 8 to 14 oz. Grilled to medium-rare with just a bit of salt to develop a gorgeous brown crust, these steaks are for the grilling books.
Grilling advice: We suggest that you cook on a grill pan rather than an open flame, as that extra fat marbling on Wagyu beef will melt over the grill and may cause flare-ups.
