Wagyu Ground Beef
Your homemade burgers get upgraded to first class! Our deliciously rich and superbly flavorful Wagyu Ground Beef creates amazing meatballs, and meat sauces so rich you’ll be tempted to forget all about the pasta. Perfect for Wagyu empanadas, and great as a super sophisticated topping for nachos!
Our Australian Wagyu ground beef comes from the same purebred cattle used to produce the acclaimed Japanese Kobe beef. The privileged genetics of these animals produce meat that’s beautifully marbled with intramuscular fat, making it buttery and superbly rich. Wagyu grinds can be used in any recipe that calls for ground beef.
Make your burgers and meatballs as big or as small as you want. You’ll get a generous 10 lbs. total of meat, divided into convenient 1 or 2.5 pound portions that you can defrost as needed.
Grilling advice: Wagyu meat has lots more delicious intramuscular fat than regular, so watch for flare-ups when you grill.
Our Wagyu meat is sourced from Broadleaf, one of Australia’s premier names in game and gourmet meat. Their Wagyu cows are from the same stock as the cows used to produce the famous and coveted Japanese Kobe beef. They’re raised in lush Australian pastures, allowed to graze freely on nutritious – and delicious – grasses, and then finished with 300 days of grain feed, never given hormones or antibiotics

Q: Is your wagyu beef - confined to a feed lot for the last 300 days? If not, how is the grain introduced? Are the wagyu cattle humanely slaughtered? I am looking for delicious, yet, humane beef.
A: Yes, the animals are confined to a feed lot to eat the grains 270-350 days on the feed lot before slaughter. They are slaughtered in a humane way.
